About Adobe® Acrobat® Reader and PDF files

Adobe® Portable Document Format (PDF) is a universal file format that preserves all of the fonts, formatting, colors, and graphics of any source document, regardless of the application and platform used to create it. PDF files are compact and can be shared, viewed, navigated, and printed exactly as intended by anyone with Adobe® Acrobat® Reader.

You can get Adobe® Acrobat® Reader free of charge from Adobe by clicking on the yellow button below.

Important Note: it is recommended that you install Acrobat® Reader BEFORE downloading any PDFs from the CSA International web site.

You can still save PDFs onto your computer's hard drive prior to installing Acrobat® Reader by RIGHT-clicking on the link to the PDF and then selecting "Save Target As…" (Internet Explorer) or "Save Link As…" (Netscape). Once you've installed Acrobat® Reader, the PDF file saved on your computer will display the correct icon, and you will be able to open it by double-clicking it, or by launching Acrobat® Reader and choosing "Open" from the "File" pull-down menu.
